Get Free Help with Your Financial Aid Application

Financial aid – the odds are in your favor

You don’t have to earn top grades or live in poverty to get financial help. Last year, more than 70,000 students from low- and middle-income families received financial aid from the state of Indiana. Nearly half of Indiana’s college students qualify for financial aid, making your odds about 50/50 that you’ll get some help to pay the bills.

Who should attend

The event is for high school seniors and other Indiana students who qualify for undergraduate admission to a college or technical school in 2015 and need financial aid.

How it works

Attend College Goal Sunday at 2 p.m. local time, Sunday, February 22 at any of the 37 sites throughout the state and receive free help from financial aid experts in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

What to bring

Students 23 years of age or younger should attend with their parent(s) or guardian(s) and bring their parents’ completed 2014 IRS 1040 tax return, W-2 form or other 2014 income, asset and benefits information. Students who worked last year should also bring their earnings information. Older students may attend alone and bring their own income information. Please apply for your Federal PIN at www.pin.ed.gov before coming to the event.
